I danced to this the other week at a mate's wedding. Me, in a kilt, doing my best 'mad Keith' impression. The children were frightened. I'm not sure if it was the impression or the twirling kilt. It was probably their first exposure to a Scotsman in his national dress. But not literally. Honest. I was very careful.mp3 : The Prodigy - Breathe

A #1 hit in November 1996, and a far superior track than the better known Firestarter.
Oh and if your're reading this Micky.....do you remember the long conversation we had one night many years ago driving back from a football game trying to work out different alternatives to the words? I'm sure we agreed that 'Pyscho Schematic Adding The Scene' was what was screaming at us from your car speakers.....
Happy Listening.

Hi Jim,
Of course I'm reading. Never miss it these days.
What a good memory you have. I don't recall that conversation at all. But then that's no surprise, I don't remember what game it was either. Or where I live a lot of the time. We must have been listening on a 'home' tape as I only have that album on vinyl.
(Are you sure it wasn't Psycho Semantic Attitude 'Zine?) ;-)
Micky.
You're not alone lads.
For a while I thought it was 'psycho-somatic accusee'. As in, someone who accuses someone else of being a pyscho-somatic.
...And that chorus line in REM's 'The Sidewinder Sleeps Tonight' is "Comedy child bakerer". Not a comedy child baker, but someone who bakes the comedy child bakers.
I genuinely thought it was 'Psyxcho-somatic attitude: sane!'
It obviously isn't.
I've also always thought there was a touch of Joy Division about that bassline...
...Me, in a kilt, doing my best 'mad Keith' impression..
Please don't put that sort of imagery in my head.
Although I'm one to talk having done the exact same thing. Also at a wedding. Black suit, black shirt (must have going through a goth phase or summat) - and wearing my prescription sunglasses as well.
I must have looked like a right twat. No. I did. Complete burk.
